Quaker Hill Farm
www.QuakerFarm.com
Featured on Animal Planet, Quaker Hill Farm offers products and produce from pasture-based farming that has resulted in
wholesome, chemical free produce available throughout the year - since 1985.
As a Michigan destination farm, we are
an integral part of Alcona County's vigorous and growing,
low impact, sustainable agriculture community that produces high quality seasonal farm products.
Offering farm-direct and farmers market sales, we specialize in raising heritage breed livestock and heirloom
variety produce. It is part of our commitment to stewardship to assist with the conservation
of rare breeds and provide educational information to visitors.
We raised our 7 children on this diverse farm and now that they are grown, we are happy to share our knowledge by
offering classes and educating visitors about the healthful and economical benefits of simple living skills and locally grown foods
so they might enjoy the best health possible. We encourage consumers to buy local, eat healthy and
support Michigan producers!

The Quaker Farm Market allows area residents and visitors an opportunity to personally visit,
explore and purchase a wide variety of our unique farm produced products. Look for our online store to open soon for the
convenience of placing orders over the Internet.
The Pioneer School of Homesteading
Homestead Workshops
provides a unique
opportunity to learn simple living skills such as soap making, fiber craft, spinning, cooking,
canning, cheese making, meat processing, homestead crafts, fundamental farm carpentry, handyman
basics and much more. Classes encourage the goals of being more self-sufficient and self-reliant.
Quaker Hill Farm also features
Quaker Anne's Children's Stories, a free, online educational resource of fully illustrated stories about life on a farm.
Our barn was selected for the Alcona County Quilt
Trail Project. We have a 8'x8' quilt block with the "North Star" design to commemorate
the life-saving work of
the Underground Railroad which the state of Michigan and Quakers played major roles in.
We have a small historical display featuring information about the history of the
Underground Railroad at our farm market.
